Our Mission

Differdle was created to make learning and practicing calculus more engaging, competitive, and fun. We believe that the key to mastering high-level math is consistent, daily practice. But let's be honest—staring at endless textbook problem sets can be a massive drag.

Our goal is to gamify the learning process. By turning derivative and integral problems into a fast-paced challenge with streaks, points, and global leaderboards, we hope to provide a motivating way for students to sharpen their analytical skills outside the classroom.

The Origin Story

The concept for Differdle didn't start in a boardroom; it started at a hackathon. The initial prototype was built during the intense, sleepless weekend of CornHacks, where the project ultimately took 2nd place overall. The goal was simple: build something that would actually help engineering and STEM students survive their foundational math courses.

As a robotics engineering student, the creator of Differdle understands firsthand how critical it is to have immediate recall of calculus rules when working on complex systems. Differdle is built by a student, for students.
